Moving beyond the limitations of an either/or mindset, letting go of the need to fit in, and unlearning patterns that held me captive to the belief that I will never be enough, have enough, or know enough is how I evolved into being a conscious leader and global citizen devoted to successfully living every day with intention and purpose.
Shaped and inspired by my multicultural upbringing, a lifelong chronic illness, and my career in corporate America and international development, I’ve developed and honed a strong spirit of resilience.
It’s been a journey of continuous learning, underscored by a commitment to personal growth and to cultivating the mental clarity, emotional stability, and embodied presence needed to free myself of the pull and push of opposing forces and live a life in harmony with myself.
It's not an illusion...
This journey has enabled me to explore, discover, and experience new places and spaces. I’ve formed amazing relationships and gained insights into different ways of living and knowing - and instead of trying to defend or protect my identity in these situations and interactions, I've nurtured and expanded it.
Like all of us, I've experienced hardship, loss, and depression, and I'm under no illusion it won’t continue. I’m aware of the tensions and challenges of living in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (V.U.C.A) world. My victory is in choosing to meet each moment as an opportunity to create beautiful experiences and gain meaningful perspectives, for myself and for others.
